KCP is a physical therapy and personal training facility committed to providing exceptional service in caring, understanding environment. Individualized patient care is always our priority, and our goal is to help you achieve YOUR goals. We offer one-on-one treatment with hands-on care by our licensed physical therapists.

In addition to our physical therapy services, we also offer daily individual and group fitness classes. Sessions are held both in-person and online. Led by physical therapists and exercise specialists, our classes are designed to simultaneously challenge members to increase their strength and balance while also focusing on injury prevention.

With over 20 years of experience in the physical therapy field, Joy has worked at Duke University and was a Regional Director of Operations with a national rehabilitation company. She graduated with a Masters in Physical Therapy and has a BS from the University of Iowa.
Joyce Kight, PT
Joyce Kight, PTVice President, Owner
Joyce has over 20 years of experience in physical therapy, with a focus in orthopedics and sports medicine. Joyce has a BS in Physical Therapy from Ohio University, and has completed over 30 post-graduate courses in orthopedic manual therapy, the spine, pelvis, and women’s health.

Ashley Williams, PT, DPTPhysical Therapist
Ashley completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Elon University in 2023. Prior to that, she received her undergraduate degree from University of North Carolina at Charlotte in Exercise Science, with a focus in Strength and Conditioning.

Karen joined KCP in November 2021. She was a stay-at-home mom who wanted to get back in the workforce. She has finance and accounting degrees from UNC Charlotte. Karen enjoys spending time with her husband and four children.
Karina Buechner
Karina BuechnerExercise Specialist
Karina is a physical therapy technician and recently received her certification for corrective exercise. She has been at KCP since she graduated from High Point University in 2018. Karina is originally from Sacramento, California and moved to Charlotte in 2002 with her family. In her spare time, she enjoys baking and cooking, collecting shells at the beach, and spending time with her family and her two cats.
Jen Gendzel
Jen GendzelKCP Physical Therapy Technician
Jen is a former physical therapist who has returned in a support position to the field she loves. She originally hails from Maine and graduated from The University of New England with a BS in Physical Therapy. She now resides in Charlotte with her husband and two children. Jen enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with her rescue dogs.
